Armor of GOD

Line up the shield & buckler,
And draw near for the battle!
(Jeremiah46:3)



YOU, O LORD,
are a shield for me, my glory 
& the ONE
who lifts up my head.
(Psalm 3:3)



let us put on the armor of light.
(Romans 13:12)



For the shields of the earth
belong to GOD;
HE is highly exalted.
Psalm 47:9



HIS Truth
shall be your shield & buckler
(Psalm 91:4)





Take hold of shield & buckler,
& stand up for my help. 
Also draw out the spear, 
& stop those who pursue me.
(Psalm 35:3 & 3)




HE put on righteousness
as a breastplate, 
& a helmet of salvation
on HIS head; 
HE put on the garments
of vengeance for clothing, 
& was clad with zeal as a cloak.
(Isaiah 59:17 NKJV)





For the word of GOD is living & active & sharper than any two-edged sword
Hebrews 4:12




You have also given me
the shield of YOUR salvation
(2 Samuel 22:36)




out of HIS mouth came a sharp
two-edged sword;
& HIS face was like the sun shining in its strength.
Revelation 1:16






for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses.

For the kingdom of GOD
does not consist in words
but in power.

But since we are of the day,
let us be sober,
having put on the breastplate of faith and love & as a helmet,
the hope of salvation.
1 Thessalonians 5:8






& when they had prayed,
the place where they
were assembled together
was shaken; 
& they were all
filled with the Holy Spirit, 
& they spoke the
word of GOD with boldness.

YOU have also given me
the shield of YOUR salvation, 
& YOUR right hand
upholds me; 
& YOUR gentleness
makes me great.

  For You, O LORD,
will bless the righteous;
with favor 
YOU will surround him
as with a shield.

Let your waist be girded 
& your lamps burning;
(Luke 12:35 NKJV)


Therefore gird up the loins
of your mind, be sober, 
& rest your hope
fully upon the grace
that is to be brought to you
at the revelation of
JESUS CHRIST;
(1 Peter 1:13 NKJV)

The Full Armor of GOD


Finally, be strong in the LORD
& in the strength of HIS might.


Put on the full armor of GOD
so that you can take your stand
against the devil's schemes.


For our struggle is not against flesh & blood,

but against the rulers, against the authorities,
against the powers of this dark world
& against the spiritual forces of evil
in the heavenly realms. 


Therefore put on
the full armor of GOD,

so that when the day of evil comes,
you may be able to stand your ground,
& after you have done everything, to stand.

 STAND FIRM then,

with the belt of
TRUTH
buckled around your waist,


with the breastplate of
RIGHTEOUSNESS
in place,


& with your feet fitted
with the readiness
that comes from the
Gospel of Peace.


In addition to all this,
take up the
shield  of  FAITH,
with which you can extinguish
all the flaming arrows of the evil one.


Take the helmet of
SALVATION

& the
SWORD OF THE SPIRIT,
which is the
WORD OF GOD.


& pray in the SPIRIT
on all occasions with all kinds of
prayers & requests.

With this in mind, be alert 
& always keep on praying for all the saints

Ephesians 6: 10-18

So, if you think
you are standing firm,
be careful that you don't fall!
